Account data

When you create an Oakamo account, we process the details needed to identify and secure your account, such as your email address, login credentials, account settings, and subscription status.

Saved articles and reading data

Oakamo stores the articles you save, reading progress, bookmarks, highlights, notes, and organisation choices so your library works across your account. You own the content and notes you add to Oakamo.

Google Drive sync

If you connect Google Drive, Oakamo uses the permission needed to provide the sync or backup feature you choose. We do not use Google Drive access for unrelated purposes. You can disconnect the integration from your account settings or Google account permissions.

Stripe billing

Paid plans are processed by Stripe. Oakamo receives billing status, plan, renewal, and limited payment metadata. Full card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored by Oakamo.

Support emails

When you contact support, we process your message, email address, account details relevant to the request, and any information you choose to include so we can respond.

Analytics

If analytics are enabled, Oakamo may use privacy-conscious usage data to understand site performance, improve product flows, and diagnose problems. Analytics should not be used to sell personal data.

Data rights

You can request access, correction, export, or deletion of personal data connected to your Oakamo account. Email official-support@oakamo.com with “Privacy request” in the subject.
